About Mount Titlis

Mount Titlis is a glacier destination in Central Switzerland, accessed from the town of Engelberg. Visitors reach the summit via a series of cable cars. The final leg uses the TITLIS Rotair, the world's first revolving aerial cableway. Read our guide on Zurich to Titlis.

At the 3,020-meter summit station, you can walk across the Titlis Cliff Walk. This 100-meter suspension bridge hangs over a 500-meter drop. You can also explore the Glacier Cave, which features a 150-meter walkway through ice that is up to 5,000 years old. Find out more about Summit Attractions.

Rose was our guide for our group tour-turned-private tour. She was incredible!!! Instructions were clear for where to meet her, she was on time, and she was so friendly. She was so knowledgeable but also very personable, funny, and easy to talk to. We had a great time with her and would highly recommend her to do your next tour! We’d love to do one of her walking tours next time. She’s amazing!

To be honest - you can easy do Mt. Titlis from Luzern at your own. For us it was just important to have everything organized before the tour - and that worked really well. We got the tickets for train and cable car ahead of time. We got a nice travel information that we could just follow it during the day. It made it a lot easier to enjoy all the views and to make a stop at Engelberg too.
